A simple, easy and lightweight video player for fast playing any YouTube video in full screen or floating window format. Just browse through the built-in YouTube browser, click here to select to watch a video and watch it in a quick screen or in a small window that floats above other apps.
Note: The minimum floating window mode playback time is limited to 3 minutes, but you can easily unlock it for unlimited playback once upgraded.
The player is very light (only 0.2MB) and does not require any device permission. It is ad-free (no ads) except for ads that appear as part of a YouTube video. It also supports YouTube playlists.
If you plan to use it on a slow 2G, 3G or 4G mobile connection, easily switch to a lower resolution. When you’re more interested in listening to music / audio, a lower quality setting can also save a lot of data bandwidth.

Play Lite is not intended to be a complete replacement or alternative to the default Google YouTube app. This provides a quick way to play videos if you don’t want to go into video details and comments. However, it does provide some additional functionality, such as float play and loop play on the normal YouTube app. It does not support background play with screen off. When listening to music or podcasts, use the minimal floating window option instead of the multi-task.
All videos are provided via YouTube and the app has no content of its own. If you have trouble playing a video or need more video details, easily switch to the official YouTube app at any time with just one click.
